About the role
This is a senior strategy role at Bank of Montreal's Day-to-Day Banking team, based in Toronto. It suits an experienced strategy or business enablement professional who wants to translate strategic priorities into execution plans and performance frameworks. The role reports to the Director, Strategic Planning & Business Enablement and partners directly with the business leadership team.
What you’ll do
- Support annual and multi-year strategic planning for Day-to-Day Banking
- Translate strategy into actionable plans, OKRs, and execution roadmaps
- Own components of the performance management framework including dashboards and executive reporting
- Support large-scale transformation initiatives including digital modernization
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and stakeholders
- Analyze market trends and conduct scenario planning for strategic input
- Prepare strategic presentations and coordinate strategic planning meetings

- Typically 7+ years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field
- Demonstrated strategy development capability including structured problem solving and PowerPoint presentations
- Proven performance management and analytical capability including Excel dashboards and models
- Solid retail banking knowledge and understanding of day-to-day banking products
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build trust and influence stakeholders at all levels
