About the role
This is a senior IT project coordinator contract role, fully remote within Canada. The coordinator will lead technical teams through the delivery of IT projects in a large, complex environment, from initiation through closure. It suits an experienced project coordinator comfortable managing executive-level stakeholders and IT infrastructure and reorganization work.
What you’ll do
- Coordinate and oversee IT projects from initiation through closure
- Define project scope and goals with business stakeholders
- Develop project charters, business cases and briefing notes
- Maintain status reports, dashboards and risk/issue logs
- Produce project closure documentation
- Lead consultations and facilitate stakeholder meetings, including with executives
- Confirm or create business, functional and technical requirements
- Plan and run project status meetings and working sessions
- Provide regular online project status reporting and maintain documentation such as SharePoint
- Ensure change management processes are followed
- Support IT infrastructure implementation activities
- Investigate, analyze and coordinate IT changes needed for company reorganizations

- Experience as a project coordinator leading technical teams across multiple IT implementations in a similarly sized, complex environment
- Experience defining project scope and goals with business stakeholders
- Proven ability to create core project documentation such as charters, business cases, briefing notes, status reports, risk logs, closures and dashboards
Nice to have
- Experience coordinating IT infrastructure projects
- Experience supporting reorganization projects, including department renaming and movement of people, services or programs across departments
- Strong stakeholder management experience, including at the executive level
