About the role
This is a systems and projects coordinator role at the University of Toronto's OISE Registrar's Office, based onsite at the St. George campus in Toronto. It suits someone with student systems and data analytics experience who can bridge business requirements and technical delivery. You'll support system initiatives, project schedules and reporting for the Registrar's Office and Student Experience team.
What you’ll do
- Facilitate design meetings for new system processes and analyze existing services and processes
- Research, analyze and recommend potential changes to system features
- Develop project schedules including milestones, critical path, timelines, deliverables and reporting
- Provide advice and data to support business cases and departmental analytics
- Liaise with IT and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Evaluate new technologies or modified business processes for enhancement requirements
- Prepare draft statistical reports and summaries from collected data
- Develop and revise business methods supporting administrative workflow
What they’re looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related area
- Minimum four years of recent experience with student systems support, data analytics, business analysis and project management
- Experience developing project schedules, timelines and deliverables
- Experience collecting data and preparing statistical reports
- Experience working with stakeholders to implement new or updated systems
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and data querying tools such as SQL, Azure Data Studio or Power Query
- Advanced knowledge of ROSI, Slate, PowerBI, PowerAutomate and online form tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Nice to have
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Ability to keep technical skills up to date
