About the role
This permanent management position leads a team of project managers and technical coordinators for AREP, an architecture and engineering firm specializing in rail and building infrastructure. You will oversee the planning, study coordination, and execution of complex technical projects, managing both internal teams and external stakeholder relationships. The role is based in Paris with hybrid flexibility and involves projects ranging from rail stations to technical building systems.
What you’ll do
- Supervise project coordination team operations and ensure quality, timeline, and cost objectives are met
- Direct team member performance reviews and oversee professional skill development
- Organize workload planning, resource allocation, and activity scheduling
- Lead coordination of technical, environmental, and economic studies during project design phases
- Manage contracts and stakeholder interfaces with clients, contractors, and SNCF
- Oversee project quality and approvals during construction and delivery phases
- Conduct site meetings and manage change requests and unforeseen conditions

- Engineering degree
- Minimum 8 years' professional experience
- Proven track record as a project manager, coordinator, or specialist in engineering or project management
- Demonstrated experience in hierarchical team management with personnel review and development responsibilities
- General knowledge of building and construction practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to listen, persuade, and align teams around common objectives
Nice to have
- Background in railway or infrastructure project delivery
- Experience managing complex stakeholder relationships with public agencies
