About the role
This is a 14-month contract Business Systems Analyst role supporting a sales support team inside a global energy company, based in Oakville and working in-office Tuesdays and Thursdays. The role suits someone who can bridge business needs and technology while helping modernize sales, order management and parts workflows. You'll work with account managers, internal teams and global affiliates on customer support, order data and process improvements, with strong potential for the contract to convert to a permanent position.
What you’ll do
- Research and document current sales, order management and parts processes to find gaps and improvements
- Design improved workflows and modernize tools and templates
- Develop and configure Microsoft-based tools, test them with users and incorporate feedback
- Assist account managers with proposals, customer support and parts quotes
- Manage parts order processing, purchasing, procurement and importation with global affiliates
- Maintain and report operational data using SAP and Salesforce
- Collaborate across business and technology teams on implementation, adoption and stabilization
What they’re looking for
- Background as a Business Systems Analyst or in sales operations, procurement, commercial or finance
- Hands-on SAP experience, particularly with procurement and data entry
- Experience with Salesforce and Microsoft-based business tools
- Strong attention to detail, organization and adaptability
- A reliable, accountable, team-oriented approach
Nice to have
- Microsoft Copilot Studio experience, including agent development or automation
- Experience with large datasets, order management or sales operations
