About the role
Access Services is seeking an onsite Accounts Payable Specialist for its Fort Washington, Pennsylvania finance team. The role suits someone with at least one year of accounts-payable, accounting, bookkeeping, or related finance experience who can process payments carefully and communicate effectively with vendors and staff. You will handle invoices, payment runs, vendor records, month-end support, audit documentation, and accounts-payable process improvements.
What you’ll do
- Review, verify, code, and process invoices
- Prepare provider payments and payments by cheque, ACH, and other methods
- Resolve vendor discrepancies and payment enquiries
- Monitor payment schedules and maintain supporting records
- Assist with accruals and month-end close
- Provide documentation and explanations for audits
- Maintain vendor tax and banking information
- Review and import employee mileage and expense reimbursements
- Complete monthly vendor sanction-screening reports
- Travel to offsite meetings or locations as needed

- A high school diploma or GED
- At least one year of accounts payable, accounting, bookkeeping, or related financial experience
- A valid US driver's licence held for at least two years
- A reliable, registered, inspected, and insured vehicle available during work hours
- Eligibility to meet background-check and driving-record requirements
- Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Strong organisation, written and verbal communication, prioritisation, and teamwork
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
