About the role
This is a full-time remote financial accounting position for a German-speaking professional based in Germany. It suits an accountant with at least two years of relevant experience who can manage transaction accuracy, month-end work, payables, reconciliations, and audit support. The role supports financial operations for Partner One Capital's software investment group.
What you’ll do
- Record, verify, and consolidate accounting transactions
- Prepare monthly closing journal entries and account reconciliations
- Process invoices, approvals, payments, and supplier tax documentation
- Coordinate documentation for interim and annual audits
- Support controls compliance and cross-functional accounting coverage
What they’re looking for
- Fluent written and spoken German
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline
- At least two years of financial accounting experience
- Familiarity with GAAP or IFRS for EMEA
- Ability to work independently within a remote team
Nice to have
- Experience in SaaS or technology companies
- Familiarity with HubSpot, Ramp, or comparable tools
