About the role
This is a hands-on DevOps engineering role designing and managing AWS cloud infrastructure and CI/CD automation, based in Bangalore. It suits an experienced DevOps engineer who wants ownership of scalable, secure infrastructure environments. The employer is Workfall India.
What you’ll do
- Design, deploy and manage AWS cloud infrastructure including EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS and ECS/EKS
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment
- Manage infrastructure as code using CloudFormation
- Implement monitoring, logging and alerting for proactive reliability
- Optimize performance, cost and security of cloud environments
- Automate repetitive operational tasks
- Work with Development, QA and Product teams on deployment and release management
- Ensure adherence to security best practices and role-based access policies
What they’re looking for
- 4+ years of hands-on DevOps experience with strong AWS expertise
- Deep understanding of AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, S3, Lambda and ECS/EKS
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins or GitHub Actions
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes/EKS
- Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
- Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting
- Strong networking understanding including VPC, subnets and security groups
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK or Datadog
- Hands-on Git experience
Nice to have
- Experience maintaining high-availability systems
- Experience with microservices architecture deployments
- Knowledge of SOC2, PCI-DSS or ISO 27001 compliance frameworks
- Knowledge of Python or Go for automation scripts
