What you’ll do
- Own the technical roadmap for your areas of ownership, addressing technical debt, reliability, scalability, and security
- Design and implement robust backend systems with clean APIs and interfaces
- Drive integration with various risk and mitigation systems to ensure regulatory compliance
- Identify and solve impactful problems within your team and across high-impact cross-team initiatives

- 6+ years of experience working with Java 8+, Spring framework, and asynchronous message queues such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Experience architecting and building highly scalable microservices
- A strong product mindset and passion for customer experience and regulatory compliance

- Commitment to writing clean, testable, maintainable, and performant code
- Proven ability to lead technical delivery of large-scale, organizationally complex projects
- Extensive experience with relational and non-relational databases, including query optimization and schema design
