This is a permanent full-time cook position at a restaurant and bar in Winnipeg, Manitoba. You'll prepare Canadian dishes and special meals, coordinate kitchen supplies, support events, and maintain food-service standards. What you’ll do
- Prepare complete meals, individual dishes, and allergy-sensitive orders.
- Cook special meals according to dietary instructions.
- Plan menus and estimate food needs and costs.
- Order food, supplies, and equipment.
- Coordinate special events, buffets, and banquets.
- Inspect and clean kitchen and service areas.
- Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling.
- Maintain inventory and related records.

- Secondary school completion or equivalent experience.
- Seven months to less than one year of experience.
- Food Safety Certificate.
- WHMIS Certificate.
- English or French language ability.
- Ability to handle heavy loads of 45 to 60 kg.
- Basic security clearance eligibility.
- Dependability, organization, initiative, and teamwork.
