About the role
Wabtec is hiring a remote treasury analyst in Mexico to support cash management, liquidity, banking, and foreign-exchange operations across Latin America. This role suits a bilingual finance professional with treasury or cash-management experience in a multi-country environment. You’ll work with regional finance teams, banking partners, and the regional treasury manager on daily transactions, funding, reporting, controls, and process improvement.
What you’ll do
- Prepare cash positions and forecasts for Latin American entities.
- Monitor regional cash flow and support liquidity optimization.
- Assist with cash pooling, intercompany funding, working capital, and short-term investments.
- Coordinate local payments, including HR, tax, and customs transactions.
- Administer banking platforms, banking relationships, account documentation, and KYC or AML processes.
- Support foreign-exchange trades and analyze currency exposure.
- Contribute to project funding, capital movements, reconciliations, reporting, and audit requests.

- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
- Two to five years of progressive treasury, cash-management, or corporate-finance experience.
- Multi-country cash-management experience.
- Knowledge of banking products, cash pooling, liquidity management, and foreign exchange.
- Experience with treasury-management systems and banking platforms.
- Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Fluent English and Spanish.
Nice to have
- Portuguese proficiency.
