About the role
This onsite freelance Event Specialist role manages individual events in Tel Aviv, Israel. It is intended for Tel Aviv-based event professionals who can oversee logistics, participant experience, and event-day issue resolution. You will serve as Visit.org's onsite representative for corporate social-impact activities and coordinate with partner organizations and venue teams.
What you’ll do
- Take part in virtual planning sessions before events.
- Prepare event spaces and oversee onsite operations.
- Coordinate responsibilities among hosts, nonprofit partners, venue contacts, staff, and corporate participants.
- Manage guest arrival and check-in.
- Resolve operational problems involving materials, staffing, or technology.
- Keep the events team informed when escalation is needed.
- Provide updates and visual event documentation to the events team.
- Package and return materials after the event.

- Have English fluency and strong communication skills.
- Already live in Tel Aviv, Israel.
- Be available for freelance assignments as events arise.
- Have delivered both complex large events and smaller executive events.
- Be organized, adaptable, and solutions-focused in uncertain situations.
- Bring experience facilitating groups and serving customers.
- Be available for evening and weekend work when required.
- Be prepared to travel around the local area.
- Be able to move items up to 30 pounds and remain standing for long periods.
