About the role

This is a senior data analyst role at Trust & Will owning the end-to-end analytics function across marketing and revenue, remote within a defined list of US states. It suits a hybrid data engineer/analyst who can build data models, run experiments and deliver recommendations directly to executives. The role covers data modeling, stakeholder partnership, recurring dashboards and ad hoc analytics for a digital estate planning platform.

What you’ll do

  • Own development of data models within the lakehouse architecture
  • Serve as first line of defense for data reliability, resolving upstream quality issues
  • Architect the semantic layer for self-serve exploration via AI and BI platforms
  • Serve as primary data partner for marketing and engineering leadership
  • Prepare and deliver data-driven recommendations to senior stakeholders
  • Mentor junior analysts on methodology and communication
  • Manage the Marketing Monitor, a 13-week rolling performance report
  • Scale and optimize recurring analytical dashboards for leadership
  • Guarantee data reliability and interpret anomalies via an alerting framework
  • Respond to ad hoc analytics requests from Finance, Marketing, Ops, Member Success and Product
  • Translate vague business questions into well-scoped analyses in Snowflake/SQL

What they’re looking for

  • 5-9+ years of experience in analytics/data science with some data engineering
  • Prior experience in a high-growth startup environment
  • Demonstrated background building data models and pipelines
  • Experience owning a data domain end-to-end, generating questions and driving decisions
  • Must reside in one of the specified US states (CA, CO, FL, GA, ID, IL, MD, NJ, NY, NC, PA, TX, VT, NV, UT)
  • Advanced SQL: window functions, CTEs, complex joins, query optimization
  • Proficiency in Python (pandas/polars, statsmodels, scikit-learn, matplotlib/seaborn)
  • Experience with BI/visualization tools such as ThoughtSpot or Omni
  • Familiarity with dbt and analytical data modeling approaches like ActivitySchema or Star Schema

Nice to have

  • Experience in fintech, legaltech, insurtech, or another regulated consumer vertical
  • Experience with product-led growth motions or B2B2C business models
  • Experience building an analytics function from scratch
  • Comfort working with an AI data analyst tool in a self-serve context
