About the role
This is a senior operations data analytics role at KoBold Metals, open to candidates in the US or Canada on a remote-first basis. What you’ll do
- Build new data models, ETL/API integrations and application support for tools like Foundry
- Maintain platform data quality, sync reliability, alerting and production support for OPSDB
- Handle governance and technical debt including RBAC, scoped roles and a dbt semantic layer
- Support Mingomba operations and mentor junior analysts
- Coordinate with functional teams such as procurement and inventory
What they’re looking for
- 5+ years in data engineering, analytics engineering or data operations owning production systems independently
- Strong SQL and data modeling skills, particularly PostgreSQL
- Proven ETL and API integration experience
- Comfort using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini
- Ability to explain technical problems to non-technical domain experts
- A valid passport and willingness to travel to exploration sites
Nice to have
- Experience with dbt
- Cloud tooling such as AWS/S3
- Finance systems such as NetSuite or Tipalti
- Geospatial data experience
