About the role
This is a senior Lead Engineer - Trims role for automotive product-development professionals with ten to fifteen years of relevant experience, based in Chennai's Manali New Town. You'll take cab, body, and product systems from early concepts through design, validation, and engineering release. What you’ll do
- Create concepts, layouts, 3D models, drawings, and design releases.
- Complete DFMEA, DVP&R, tolerance, and packaging reviews.
- Coordinate inputs from CAE, testing, manufacturing, and suppliers.
- Resolve validation, quality, and field problems through structured engineering.
- Support technical documentation and cross-functional product development.
What they’re looking for
- Ten to fifteen years of relevant experience in Trims.
- Engineering experience in automotive, commercial vehicles, mobility, or a related product-development environment.
- Practical experience with Trims, PLM, DFMEA, exterior trims, vehicle integration, frame, and root-cause analysis.
- A B.Tech or B.E. degree in any specialization.
Nice to have
- Commercial-vehicle product-development experience.
- Cross-functional validation experience.
- Design release and technical-documentation experience.
