About the role
This is a lead automotive R&D engineering role in Chennai for a professional with 16 to 18 years of interior-trims experience. You'll develop vehicle interior systems from concept through validation and release, coordinating engineering inputs and resolving quality or field issues.
What you’ll do
- Create concepts, layouts, 3D models, drawings and design releases.
- Complete DFMEA, DVP&R, tolerance and packaging reviews.
- Coordinate CAE, testing, manufacturing and supplier inputs.
- Resolve validation, quality and field issues through structured engineering.
- Support vehicle integration and engineering release.

- Sixteen to eighteen years of relevant interior-trims experience.
- Strong experience with PLM, DFMEA, interior trims, vehicle integration, frame and root-cause analysis.
- Automotive, commercial-vehicle, mobility or adjacent product-engineering experience.
- A bachelor's engineering degree is listed in the candidate profile.
