About the role
This is an automotive powertrain engineering role for professionals with 2–9 years of cooling experience, based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. You’ll develop, calibrate and validate engine and cooling-related systems against performance, emissions, efficiency and durability goals. What you’ll do
- Translate vehicle targets into powertrain requirements.
- Develop or calibrate engine and powertrain subsystems.
- Analyse testing, field and diagnostic information.
- Deliver emissions, performance, reliability and release targets.
- Support cooling-system, air-intake and vehicle-integration work.
What they’re looking for
- 2–9 years of relevant cooling experience.
- Practical experience with cooling systems, GD&T, DFMEA and design release.
- Experience with air intake, vehicle integration, benchmarking or clutch systems.
- An engineering background in automotive, commercial vehicles, mobility or a related product-engineering setting.
Nice to have
- Commercial-vehicle product development experience.
- Cross-functional validation experience.
- Technical documentation experience.
