About the role
This is an Engineer - EATS Design role for automotive product-engineering professionals with two to nine years of relevant experience, based in Chennai's Manali New Town. What you’ll do
- Translate vehicle targets into powertrain requirements.
- Develop and calibrate engine and powertrain subsystems.
- Analyse test, field, and diagnostic information.
- Deliver emissions, performance, reliability, and release targets.
- Support design reviews, validation, and technical documentation.
What they’re looking for
- Two to nine years of relevant EATS experience.
- Engineering experience in automotive, commercial vehicles, mobility, or a related product-development environment.
- Practical experience with EATS, CATIA V5, Teamcenter, PLM, GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and DFMEA.
- Knowledge of APQP, sheet metal, welding, UDS, and GT-Power.
- A B.Tech or B.E. degree in any specialization.
Nice to have
- Commercial-vehicle product-development experience.
- Cross-functional validation experience.
- Design release and technical-documentation experience.
