About the role
This is a remote contract role for a full-stack engineer who works with Node.js, React, and TypeScript. You'll review AI-generated software, write reference implementations and explanations, and assess security, performance, scalability, and runtime behavior. The role is open to contractors in Germany, India, and the United States.
What you’ll do
- Review AI-generated full-stack code, designs, and technical explanations.
- Create prompts and reference answers for AI training.
- Rate AI outputs for correctness, security, performance, and maintainability.
- Test model recommendations against realistic cases and edge conditions.
- Document actionable feedback for improving code and prompts.
- Work with AI engineers and data scientists on evaluation standards.
What they’re looking for
- At least 4 years building production web applications with Node.js and React.
- Strong TypeScript skills across frontend and backend codebases.
- Knowledge of Node.js async behavior, APIs, validation, security, and queues.
- Experience with React components, hooks, state, performance, forms, and accessibility.
- Experience designing and operating SQL or NoSQL data layers.
- Knowledge of sessions, JWT, cookies, OAuth/OIDC, authorization models, and secrets management.
- Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing and CI/CD.
- C1-level English proficiency for technical writing.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to have
- Experience in AI data training, annotation, or review of generated technical content.
- Familiarity with Express, Fastify, NestJS, Prisma, TypeORM, or Next.js.
