This is a remote senior full-stack developer role based in Kyiv, Ukraine. It suits an experienced Node.js and React developer who wants to build backend services for a licensed digital asset bank built on blockchain. The employer is S-PRO, a digital innovation and software engineering company. You'd take ownership of features covering capital raising, asset creation and crypto trading tools.
What you’ll do
- Develop and maintain backend services for the blockchain platform
- Implement features using Node.js (NestJS) or React and TypeScript
- Manage PostgreSQL databases using TypeORM or similar ORMs
- Implement cloud services using AWS (S3, SES, RDS)
- Participate in testing, code review, estimation, debugging and production support
- Gather and clarify requirements independently
- Take ownership of project execution and lead development processes
What they’re looking for
- 5+ years of experience as a full-stack developer
- Experience with fin-tech projects or payment system integrations
- Strong knowledge of Node.js, TypeScript and NestJS
- Strong knowledge of React, React Query, Valtio and MUI
- Experience with PostgreSQL and ORM solutions like TypeORM
- Strong experience with message brokers such as Kafka
- Ability to independently analyze requirements and implement solutions
- General understanding of blockchain concepts including tokenization and smart contracts
- Knowledge of design patterns and algorithms
Nice to have
- Docker and Kubernetes experience
- Infrastructure experience with Terraform and Helm charts
- Observability and monitoring experience such as Datadog
- Hands-on AWS services experience (S3, SES, RDS)
