About the role
This is a senior data analyst role on SeatGeek's Risk Analytics team, fully remote within the USA. It suits an experienced fraud/risk analyst who is strong in Python and SQL and wants to build models and automate analysis rather than rely on external vendor tools. The role owns technical and statistical work turning fraud strategy into measurable, executable decisions.
What you’ll do
- Build and maintain Python-based analyses, models and data pipelines for fraud decisioning and vendor evaluation
- Design and run statistical experiments including A/B tests and holdout experiments
- Develop and iterate on internal fraud risk models, owning calibration and validation
- Use LLMs, code generation and agentic workflows to speed up analysis
- Assess vendor score calibration and measure lift across segments
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports in Looker and Hex
- Monitor fraud and operations metrics and investigate anomalies
- Collaborate with Risk Ops, Engineering, Payments and CX
What they’re looking for
- 3+ years in fraud analytics, risk, fintech or a similarly analytical role
- Strong Python skills with pandas, scikit-learn and statsmodels
- Strong SQL for complex data pulls and building reusable views
- Solid statistical grounding in experiment design and model calibration
- Hands-on experience building and validating classification models
- Active, hands-on use of AI tools in day-to-day analytical work
- Comfort defining ambiguous problems, not just solving them
Nice to have
- Familiarity with fraud vendors such as Forter, Riskified or Sardine
- Experience with Looker or similar BI tools
