What you’ll do
- Lead hands-on technical solutioning of product features
- Serve as a mentor on technical, architectural, and design problems
- Proactively identify technical weaknesses and recommend solutions
- Handle deployment of code, database migrations, and assess production impact
- Understand and augment the system and application architecture
- Perform code reviews and take ownership of releasing new features to production
- Report on and improve team output
- Liaise with management and key stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals

- Experience with managing teams
- Excellent hands-on experience with Node.js, Express.js, and JavaScript
- Good understanding of asynchronous programming, callbacks, and closures
- Test-driven development experience with frameworks like Mocha and Cypress
- Strong skills with Postgres databases
- Excellent Object Oriented Programming skills and ability to write modular, secure, scalable, and maintainable code
- Knowledge of AWS components including S3, EC2, Cloudfront, Redis Clusters, and Postgres
- Experience with GraphQL APIs
