About the role
This is a dual-mandate leadership role at Statara Solutions, combining department head duties for Data Products & Engineering with solution architecture for client-facing data work. It suits an experienced technologist ready to manage a team while also shaping pre-sales and solution design. The role is fully remote within the US.
What you’ll do
- Set vision, priorities and technical direction for the Data Products & Engineering department
- Lead, coach and develop team members including performance oversight and capacity planning
- Own operational health of Statara's Snowflake-based data infrastructure
- Lead technical shaping of client solutions from concept through delivery planning
- Partner with Business Development to scope opportunities and assess feasibility
- Guide data and analytical validation efforts to confirm solution viability
- Collaborate with Product, Data Science and Engineering to align designs with delivery realities
What they’re looking for
- Hands-on working knowledge of Snowflake
- Experience in solutions engineering, data engineering, analytics or data products
- Familiarity with data integration, pipelines, data modeling and solution architecture
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
- Team leadership experience, whether direct management or tech-lead roles
- Must be located and authorized to work in the US
Nice to have
- AWS environment experience
- Alteryx experience
- Formal people-management experience
- Background in data onboarding, identity resolution, audience strategy, martech/adtech or measurement partnerships
- Experience in activation, programmatic, or audience deployment
