  • Create shared abstractions, automation, and tooling across deployment environments.
  • Improve performance, availability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • Investigate production failures across service and infrastructure boundaries.
  • Set technical direction and lead infrastructure programs across teams.
  • Establish engineering standards through architecture work, design reviews, collaboration, and mentorship.

  • Ability to set technical direction, lead through influence, and mentor engineers.
  • Strong skills in Python or another backend or systems language such as Go, Rust, C++, or Java.
  • Experience in at least two infrastructure areas, including cloud platforms, Kubernetes, storage, databases, networking, data systems, developer infrastructure, or reliability.
  • Ability to learn unfamiliar systems quickly and drive incidents through durable resolution.

Nice to have

  • Experience spanning several infrastructure domains.
  • Experience with real-time search, retrieval, model serving, or agent workloads.

What’s on offer

  • Full-time work with remote availability in the United States.
  • Office options in San Francisco, Austin, Berlin, London, New York City, Seattle, and Toronto.
  • U.S. compensation of $220,000 to $405,000 plus equity.
