About the role
This is a full-time Staff DevOps Engineer role for a LATAM-based platform engineer with at least 10 years of relevant production-engineering experience. You’ll lead cloud-platform architecture and reliability work for a global consumer 3D, AI, and visualization product used by millions. The position combines hands-on platform ownership, cross-team technical direction, mentoring, incident response, and on-call participation. It is fully remote within Latin America.
What you’ll do
- Lead cloud architecture, platform services, and systems integrations.
- Set standards for infrastructure, deployment, observability, reliability, and production readiness.
- Own reliability, scalability, security, and continuous improvement for production systems.
- Drive cross-team platform initiatives and technical roadmaps.
- Remove systemic barriers affecting engineering velocity and developer experience.
- Contribute through architecture reviews, design documents, code reviews, testing, and service objectives.
- Mentor senior engineers and communicate technical direction to product leaders.
- Participate in on-call rotations and improve incident response.
What they’re looking for
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 10 years in DevOps, SRE, platform engineering, or related production-engineering roles.
- Strong software engineering ability and computer science fundamentals.
- At least five years of Kubernetes and complex multi-team cloud-platform architecture experience.
- End-to-end production ownership for reliability, scalability, and security.
- Experience with cloud operations, incidents, on-call work, technical risk, and cross-team influence.
- Advanced English for work with US-based clients.

- Django or Django REST Framework experience.
- Google Cloud Platform experience.
- Low-latency customer-facing application experience.
- Temporal or Airflow workflow-orchestration experience.
- Terraform, FinOps, cloud cost optimization, or PostgreSQL experience.
