What you’ll do
- Shape and guide the evolution of the enterprise technology landscape
- Define architecture principles, target-state roadmaps and strategic technology direction
- Establish governance and compliance standards and policies
- Lead risk and cost analysis, including build-versus-buy recommendations
- Analyze the current IT environment and recommend improvements
- Develop domain roadmaps and capture current- and future-state architecture
- Review project implementations and designs for alignment with approved architecture
- Serve as an internal spokesperson for enterprise architecture
- Research and assess new approaches and technologies
- Consult with project and infrastructure teams to align on architecture
What they’re looking for
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, business administration, or equivalent experience
- Experience in application development and systems architecture
- Proven experience developing enterprise architecture strategies and roadmaps
- Knowledge of the insurance, finance or fintech industry
- Understanding of architecture governance and regulatory compliance (e.g. OSFI)
- 10+ years in information technology
- 5+ years in IT strategic planning, enterprise, solution or business architecture
- 2+ years of hands-on enterprise architecture experience
- Experience with vendor management, contracts and capacity planning
- Experience with mergers, acquisitions and integrations
- Bilingualism required for candidates located in Quebec
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
