This is a senior platform-engineering role for an India-based engineer building the backend, Agent API, and runtime services of a multi-tenant AI-agent platform. You will develop production Python services, agent capabilities, packaging workflows, evaluations, and deployment patterns for simple and custom agents. What you’ll do
- Build platform features for creating, testing, deploying, and managing agents.
- Develop REST APIs for agent lifecycle and configuration workflows.
- Implement packaging, manifest validation, and agent-protocol compliance.
- Support Docker-based local development and AWS-hosted runtime patterns.
- Diagnose agent, tool, and API problems and deliver root-cause fixes.
- Create automated tests and repeatable evaluations for agent behavior.
- Improve prompts, tool use, orchestration, and agent reliability.
- Work with architects, platform engineers, QA, and support teams.

- At least five years of professional Python software-engineering experience.
- At least three years working with AI or machine-learning systems.
- At least one to two years building AI agents, orchestration workflows, or RAG integrations.
- Experience delivering production REST APIs and backend services.

- Experience with Docker and cloud-hosted runtime environments.
- Background in machine learning, data science, experimentation, and evaluation.
- Ability to work within security, governance, and controlled-deployment requirements.
