About the role
This is a senior AI engineering role in Bangalore for someone with at least six years of software-engineering experience and production LLM experience. You'll build a reusable, MCP-native agent platform for manufacturing and packaging software, with governed data access, auditability and cloud deployment.
What you’ll do
- Build screen-independent business capabilities that people, agents and automated jobs can use.
- Expose company capabilities as MCP-described tools.
- Develop orchestration that turns model output into governed tool actions.
- Build RAG pipelines grounded in company data.
- Integrate multiple LLM providers through a shared abstraction.
- Maintain a governed Data Agent for customer-data inference.
- Apply approval gates and audit trails to agent actions.
- Deliver intelligence capabilities for schedules, orders, documents, forecasts and KPIs.
- Deploy agents and inference endpoints on AWS.
- Add evaluations, cost controls and observability.
- Partner with product pods and ML engineering teams.

- At least six years of software-engineering experience.
- At least two years building production systems with LLMs.
- Strong Python skills and experience setting technical direction.
- Experience with prompt engineering, tool calling and agent frameworks.
- Experience with a major LLM provider API.
- Hands-on AWS deployment and operations experience.
- Experience optimizing model inference for latency, throughput and cost.
- Experience with RAG and vector databases.
- Working knowledge of classical ML engineering and MLOps.
- Familiarity with Docker, Git and CI/CD.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
Nice to have
- Experience with MCP or similar agent-tool standards.
- Experience building governed read-only data layers.
- Kubernetes, AWS Bedrock or SageMaker exposure.
- Experience with ERP, MES or manufacturing data.
- Customer-facing or embedded product-team experience.
- Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana or Datadog.
