This is a senior clinical systems design role for clinical trial database work, based remotely in Canada with about 10% travel. What you’ll do
- Lead design and development of clinical systems aligned to study protocols.
- Complete high-level system requirements documentation and coordinate reviews.
- Copy, modify and maintain CRFs from established libraries.
- Develop custom CRF screens, edit-check and dynamic-check specifications.
- Conduct quality control and peer reviews of database specifications.
- Lead eCRF and clinical system specification review meetings.
- Select and build edit checks, including complex dynamic and discrepancy checks.
- Monitor study activities and escalate out-of-scope tasks.
- Support timeline and scope decisions with study leadership.
- Assess and implement post-production database changes through to release.
- Travel approximately 10% domestically and internationally.

- At least 5 years designing and implementing clinical systems in clinical research.
- Expertise in data analysis or database development with clinical data management systems.
- Hands-on knowledge of a Clinical Data Management System such as Medidata Rave or Veeva EDC.
- Strong CRF design skills and ability to plan CDMS components from trial protocols.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada.
