What you’ll do
- Own and evolve client-facing data transformation pipelines as the customer base grows.
- Design and maintain data integrity tests with Engineering and Customer Success.
- Collaborate with Customer Success on reporting requirements and troubleshooting.
- Refactor and optimize data models and pipelines for performance and scalability.
- Establish technical patterns and best practices for the Data team.
- Explore AI-enabled approaches to accelerate transformation development.
- Contribute through code reviews and technical communication.
- Coach teammates and contribute to hiring and onboarding.

- Experience owning transformation pipelines for financial or operational data end to end.
- Strong SQL skills and hands-on dbt or comparable transformation framework experience.
- Strong understanding of the full data lifecycle from ingestion to consumption.
- Experience with BigQuery, Python, Git and CI/CD.
- Proven ability to operate independently and set standards in ambiguous situations.
- Strong commitment to code quality, data integrity and documentation.
- Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to mentor teammates.
- Willingness to work remotely within the Americas with aligned hours.

- Familiarity with Airbyte, Fivetran, Merge or Datadog.
- Experience with financial data specifically.
