About the role
This is a mid-level project management role at jobgether, a nonprofit-focused software company, available as a remote position open to Canada-based candidates. You'll lead end-to-end implementation projects for mission-driven organizations, managing timelines, resources and scope while serving as the primary customer contact. The role combines project leadership, stakeholder management, technical coordination and the responsibility for aligning solutions with customer operational needs.
What you’ll do
- Lead end-to-end customer implementation projects from kickoff through go-live and transition to support
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, milestones and resource allocations based on customer requirements
- Coordinate technical resources, consultants and customer stakeholders to keep projects on schedule and within scope
- Monitor project progress and proactively identify and manage risks, issues and dependencies
- Maintain clear project status reporting for customers, executives and internal stakeholders
- Serve as the primary customer contact throughout implementation, building trusted relationships
- Facilitate discovery sessions, workshops and requirements-gathering discussions
- Translate technical concepts into business language for non-technical stakeholders
- Manage customer expectations, scope priorities and changes throughout the project lifecycle
- Collaborate with solution architects and engineering teams to resolve technical blockers
- Oversee data migration, integrations and User Acceptance Testing activities
- Ensure implementations follow established methodologies, quality standards and delivery processes
What they’re looking for
- 3 to 7+ years of project management experience in SaaS, software implementation, Professional Services or IT services
- Strong understanding of SaaS delivery models, software implementation and data migration
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects in fast-paced environments
- Strong communication, facilitation and presentation skills
- Ability to translate business requirements into clear, actionable technical tasks
- Comfortable managing scope, timelines, resources, dependencies, risks and customer expectations
- Direct customer-facing experience with the ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and accountability
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across Sales, Product, Engineering and Support functions
- Customer-focused mindset balanced with technical constraints and delivery requirements
- Proactive and adaptable, comfortable working with autonomy in a distributed organization
Nice to have
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or PRINCE2 certification
- Prior Professional Services or Customer Success organization experience
- Familiarity with API integrations and data mapping concepts
- Experience with enterprise SaaS platforms (CRM, ERP, HRIS, analytics)
