About the role
This is a technology-focused GRC role based in India, helping run a global company's IT compliance program. It suits someone who has worked inside a large organization's information-security or IT-audit function and is comfortable moving between hands-on control testing and advising technical teams. The work spans audits, control testing, policy compliance and helping automate compliance processes using GRC tooling.
What you’ll do
- Support delivery of global information-security and IT compliance programs, including annual audits and control testing.
- Advise technology teams on compliance requirements, security standards, IT controls and audit scope.
- Use GRC tools to manage risk assessments, policy compliance, remediation tracking and continuous controls monitoring.
- Support integration of GRC solutions with platforms such as SAP, Azure, ServiceNow and IAM systems.
- Partner with technology teams on projects and system changes to identify and strengthen controls.
- Support regulatory registrations, self-assessments and audit activity for the relevant region.
- Help identify and implement automation and AI opportunities within compliance operations.
What they’re looking for
- Tertiary education or equivalent professional experience.
- Prior experience in a GRC role within a large organization.
- Working knowledge of information security standards, IT control frameworks and regulatory requirements.
- Experience delivering compliance programs, audits and control testing.
- Strong stakeholder management and the ability to give practical, risk-based advice.
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with GRC platforms covering risk assessment, remediation and continuous controls monitoring.
- Experience with enterprise platforms such as SAP, Azure, ServiceNow or IAM solutions.
