About the role
This is a remote, 12-month contract data analyst role for candidates in the United States. You'll use SQL, Power BI, Python and Excel to analyze data, build dashboards and support data quality and ETL initiatives. The role suits someone who can translate business needs into practical analytics and reporting solutions.
What you’ll do
- Analyze datasets to identify trends and translate findings into reports, dashboards and KPIs
- Develop complex SQL queries using joins, aggregations, filtering, validation and reconciliation
- Design and maintain Power BI dashboards and visualizations
- Use Python for data analysis, transformation and automation of recurring processes
- Support data quality initiatives including cleansing, reconciliation, ETL and integration
- Translate business requirements into analytics and reporting solutions
- Develop and maintain KPI and metric frameworks
- Communicate findings through reports, presentations and stakeholder interactions

- Professional experience with SQL, Power BI, Python and business intelligence
- Strong SQL skills including complex queries, joins and data validation
- Hands-on Power BI dashboard development experience
- Proficiency with Python for data analysis and automation
- Advanced Excel skills
- Knowledge of data quality, cleansing, ETL and data warehousing concepts
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business or related field
