About the role
This is a full-time remote role for a South Carolina-based Azure infrastructure architect who can support client cloud environments and security operations. You’ll design and improve Azure environments, respond to monitoring and security events, and advise clients and junior technical staff. The position includes an on-call rotation of about one week per month.
What you’ll do
- Respond to monitoring alerts, service requests, and proactive support needs.
- Design new Azure environments and changes to existing environments.
- Address vulnerabilities at Azure and operating-system levels.
- Conduct Azure security assessments using best-practice guidance.
- Triage security alerts and escalate issues to clients when necessary.
- Act as a client advisor on Azure infrastructure.
- Mentor junior team members.
What they’re looking for
- At least three years of Azure experience focused on infrastructure, security, and networking.
- Basic familiarity with Azure PaaS resources.
- At least three years of Windows Server experience, including Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Some PowerShell experience.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID.
- Ability to participate in on-call support.
Nice to have
- Linux experience.
- Experience managing Palo Alto firewalls.
