About the role
This is a senior data analyst role supporting Life Insurance operations in Toronto, reporting to the Head of Lead Management. It suits someone who enjoys mixing sales analytics, retention analysis and cross-market knowledge transfer. The role blends dashboard and reporting work with documentation to support the company's expansion into new markets.
What you’ll do
- Analyze sales performance to improve lead conversion and agent productivity
- Build and maintain dashboards and scorecards for sales metrics
- Support forecasting and capacity planning for the sales organization
- Analyze customer and policyholder behavior to identify retention drivers
- Monitor and report on post-sales metrics including service levels and customer experience
- Document operational, sales and service learnings for new market launches
- Maintain knowledge repositories and reporting standards for market expansion
What they’re looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business or Economics
- 3+ years in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence or a related role
- Strong SQL skills including Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL)
- Experience using Python for data analysis, reporting and automation
- Proficiency with Power BI and/or Tableau
- Experience with Databricks and modern analytics tools
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Nice to have
- Experience in Life Insurance, Financial Services or a regulated industry
- Working knowledge of AI/Machine Learning concepts and predictive analytics
