About the role

What you’ll do
- Serve as the main technical point of contact for a portfolio of large accounts
- Guide customers through evaluating and adopting Databricks as part of their data strategy
- Define and implement technical strategy within each account
- Build a network of technical champions inside customer organizations
- Align account technical direction with Databricks' broader solutions
- Mentor other members of the technical team
What they’re looking for
- 6+ years of experience in large accounts ($1M ARR) within Retail or CPG
- 4+ years in a pre-sales capacity or supporting sales activity
- Strong technical grounding in big data, data science and cloud platforms
- Experience driving data-driven business transformation and change management
- 3+ years designing and implementing big data technologies (Hadoop, NoSQL, MPP, OLTP, OLAP) or full-lifecycle data science solutions
- Ability to maintain and extend production data systems for evolving customer needs
- Production programming experience in Python, R, Scala or Java
