This is a senior backend engineering role building observability products that let Databricks customers monitor and optimize their AI and data workloads, based in Bengaluru, India. What you’ll do
- Develop systems giving customers a reliable, timely interface for observability
- Enable frameworks teams across Databricks to publish data to customers
- Lead large milestones from the observability roadmap and contribute to long-term product vision

- Optimize scalability and cost of large data pipelines
- Drive integration with popular data warehousing ecosystem tools
What they’re looking for
- 6+ years of production-level experience in Java, Scala, Python, C++ or a similar language
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker or Kubernetes
- Proven track record architecting, developing, deploying and operating large-scale distributed systems
- Strong software engineering maturity in security, correctness and operational excellence
- Platform mindset with experience building for other software teams
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across internal and external customers
