About the role
This is a leadership role managing a team of pre-sales Solutions Architects focused on healthcare provider accounts at Databricks. It suits an experienced pre-sales leader who wants to grow a technical team while driving consumption and adoption in the healthcare vertical. The role reports to the Field Engineering Leader for Healthcare Provider Organization and sits within the enterprise software, big data and data science space.
What you’ll do
- Hire, train and develop a team of Solutions Architects
- Guide the team through technical qualification, proof of concepts and architecture discussions
- Drive sales targets across the region through the team's technical work
- Build trusted advisor relationships with customers throughout their lifecycle
- Partner with sales, go-to-market and other internal teams to maximize customer success
What they’re looking for
- 5+ years of experience in the data space with a technical product such as data warehousing, big data or machine learning
- 5+ years leading technical teams, ideally in a pre-sales organization
- Experience exceeding annual quotas and building strategic accounts
- Proven track record as a trusted advisor to technical executives
- Experience hiring, training and promoting team members
- Ability to build strong working relationships across Field Engineering, Sales and other internal groups
Nice to have
- Experience in the healthcare industry, including hospital systems, healthcare providers and health plans

- Base salary range of $192,100 to $264,175 depending on location
