About the role
This is an on-site Agentic AI/ML Specialist role at Retail Insights in Bangalore, for candidates with 3 or more years of experience in AI/ML or data science. The role designs and orchestrates multi-agent systems for enterprise retail and digital commerce workflows. You'd integrate LLMs with enterprise APIs and databases, build RAG pipelines and set up guardrails and KPIs for autonomous agents.
What you’ll do
- Design, develop and deploy agentic AI architectures capable of autonomous decision-making
- Construct and coordinate multi-agent systems to automate enterprise workflows
- Connect LLMs to back-office applications, databases and third-party APIs via tool-calling
- Define agent behaviors, toolsets, memory states and planning strategies
- Implement and optimize RAG pipelines to ground agent outputs in enterprise data
- Engineer autonomous agents for retail use cases like customer support and recommendations
- Implement guardrails, observability and fallback controls
- Track agent performance KPIs including task resolution rate, cost and latency
- Collaborate with ML and data engineering teams on data preparation and model governance
What they’re looking for
- 3+ years of professional experience in applied AI/ML or data science
- Demonstrated track record building and deploying agentic or autonomous AI systems in production
- Advanced programming proficiency in Python
- Deep understanding of foundation LLMs, prompt engineering and agent orchestration patterns
- Solid grasp of machine learning fundamentals, NLP and data modeling
- Proven experience integrating AI components with external APIs and enterprise application layers
- Strong problem-solving and cross-functional communication abilities
Nice to have
- Experience with Salesforce Agentforce or conversational retail commerce platforms
- Experience building multi-agent systems with LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen or Google ADK
- Exposure to enterprise retail ecosystems like Shopify, Blue Yonder, Snowflake or Adobe Commerce
- Integration experience with cloud data platforms like Snowflake
