About the role

This is a full-time remote Data Engineer role for a professional with at least three years of experience, based in Poland. You'll help build and operate Tabby's corporate data warehouse using cloud data-processing and storage practices. The work supports business users, analysts, and machine-learning engineers.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and maintain the corporate data warehouse.
  • Synchronize data between internal and external systems.
  • Build tools that collect data into the warehouse.
  • Develop EL, ELT, and ETL pipelines.
  • Introduce data governance and quality practices.
  • Optimize data-platform costs.

What they’re looking for

  • At least three years of Data Engineer experience.
  • Data warehouse development and maintenance experience.
  • Knowledge of Kimball, Inmon, Medallion, Data Mesh, and data-modeling approaches.
  • Strong Python, SQL, and system-design practices.
  • Experience with Airflow, dbt, BigQuery, ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, Docker, GitLab CI/CD, and Google Cloud Platform.

Nice to have

  • REST, gRPC, message broker, or queue experience.
  • Experience with relational, MPP, or NoSQL storage systems.
  • Additional Google Cloud Platform experience.
