What you’ll do
- Translate legal and compliance workflows into technical AI solutions.
- Build applications for contract review, legal research, regulatory analysis, and compliance work.
- Develop document ingestion, parsing, chunking, embedding, and indexing pipelines.
- Ship tested production features using Python or TypeScript, LLM APIs, orchestration tools, and CI/CD.
- Create evaluation methods and quality metrics for legal AI outputs.
- Implement access controls, audit logging, PII redaction, and data-residency safeguards.
- Train legal users on no-code AI solutions and relay user needs into product planning.

- 10+ years in software engineering, data science, or machine learning engineering.
- Production experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, RAG, agent or tool-use development, and evaluation.
- Strong Python skills and familiarity with AI orchestration frameworks.
- Experience with vector databases, cloud platforms, APIs, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience building unstructured-document data pipelines.
- Interest or experience in legal, compliance, or regulatory work.

- Experience delivering AI in regulated industries.
- Experience with human-supervised agentic workflows, tool calling, MCP servers, and structured outputs.
- Experience with enterprise AI governance, responsible AI, model evaluation, bias testing, explainability, or EU AI Act compliance.
