About the role
This is a senior solutions architecture role supporting enterprise infrastructure sales in Japan. It suits a Japanese- and English-speaking pre-sales architect with deep Linux, container, and systems-integration experience. You’ll help customers evaluate and deploy open-source Linux, orchestration, cluster-provisioning, and container technologies for HPC, AI/ML, and hybrid-cloud workloads. The team works remote-first, with limited travel expected for most positions.
What you’ll do
- Partner with sales leaders to understand customer needs and shape technical solutions.
- Run discovery sessions, demonstrations, workshops, architecture design, and proof-of-concept work.
- Advise customers on integrations, deployment approaches, and performance for compute-heavy environments.
- Train system integrators and reseller partners.
- Bring customer feedback and product-improvement ideas to engineering teams.

- Expert knowledge of Linux, containers, and systems integration.
- Strong customer-facing presentation and communication skills.
- Fluent Japanese and strong written and spoken English.

- Ability to manage several customer engagements in a remote-first environment.
