This is a solution architect role for the Guidewire Insurance Suite, based in Markham, Ontario with remote work possibly considered. What you’ll do
- Design end-to-end solutions across the Guidewire Insurance Suite for availability, security, resilience and performance
- Develop Guidewire design and migration strategies including legacy policy conversion
- Ensure integration across platforms while managing transition states
- Define and enforce architecture standards and review designs for compliance
- Mentor team members and contribute to the solution architecture community
- Drive problem-solving on projects and propose design improvements
- Liaise with internal teams, suppliers and technology partners
What they’re looking for
- Extensive experience in commercial insurance underwriting, policy lifecycle, rating, endorsements, renewals and claims
- Skilled in Guidewire PolicyCenter, Workbench and ecosystem integrations
- Hands-on experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform and migration strategies
- Experience with APD and Integration Framework
- Experience architecting integrations between Guidewire and finance, payments and document systems
- Certification in AWS or Azure
- Strong grasp of Agile project lifecycle methodologies
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
