About the role
Partner with enterprise customers to operationalize Claude for cybersecurity work including code scanning, penetration testing, and threat intelligence. This role suits security professionals with 5+ years of experience and proven skills in customer-facing technical advisory roles. Hybrid positions in San Francisco or New York.
What you’ll do
- Partner with account teams to understand customer security programs and identify where Claude can take on meaningful security work
- Serve as primary security-domain technical advisor to large enterprise customers from discovery through production deployment
- Move customers from one-time security reviews to sustained, production security workloads
- Build and maintain reference implementations, evaluation approaches, and harnesses that customers use for security work with Claude
- Design and conduct workshops and technical sessions where customer security teams engage directly with Claude on their own code and workflows
- Coordinate with security industry partners and ISVs on shared accounts, enabling them to deliver Claude-powered security outcomes
- Deliver technical content across audiences from security engineers to executives, explaining both technical value and business risk
- Track adoption and depth of security workload usage across customer accounts; work with product teams on telemetry
- Write playbooks and best practices for each security workload that the field can reuse
- Identify common patterns and feature gaps; contribute insights to product and engineering teams
- Travel occasionally to customer sites for workshops and relationship building
- Maintain current knowledge of LLM capabilities and evolving security threat landscape
What they’re looking for
- 5+ years in security roles with hands-on depth in at least two areas: application security and secure SDLC, offensive security and penetration testing, detection and response, or threat intelligence and vulnerability management
- Experience in technical customer-facing roles such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, security consultant, or Technical Account Manager
- Track record working with large enterprise customers and navigating complex multi-stakeholder buying cycles
- Ability to explain security value and risk to CISOs and executives
- Practical experience with Python; comfort with CI/CD and cloud environments
- Direct experience integrating security tooling into engineering workflows
- Familiarity with LLM frameworks and practical hands-on experience using LLMs for security work
- Excitement for cross-organizational collaboration and working through trade-offs
- Strong teaching, mentoring, and helping-others-succeed orientation
- Passion for creative, safe, and beneficial use of technology
Nice to have
- Experience building or operating security automation at scale (scanning pipelines, triage systems, detection engineering)
- Experience serving broad customer bases across regulated industries, semiconductors, and digital-native organizations
- Background working with security ISVs, systems integrators, or managed security providers
- Open-source security tooling contributions, published research, or CVEs
