About the role
This is a senior architecture role designing public cloud solutions for enterprise customers moving to Linode/Akamai Cloud Compute. It suits an experienced cloud architect who enjoys working directly with customers on strategic and technical cloud transformation, open to candidates in India. Akamai, a cloud and edge platform company, is hiring for this position.
What you’ll do
- Collaborate with account teams to support cloud opportunities and customer adoption
- Analyze and break down application components using modern cloud technologies
- Facilitate design and implementation of Akamai Compute Solutions and service-oriented architectures
- Establish technical thought leadership in cloud computing and Linode services
- Partner across cloud compute, security and delivery teams on enterprise workload solutions
What they’re looking for
- 6 to 10 years of experience in cloud architecture, implementation and strategy for large-scale systems
- Ability to align IT investments with organizational goals
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or related field, or equivalent experience
- Expertise in technical roles at cloud software organizations or public cloud environments
- Expertise architecting complex IaaS solutions, with certifications from AWS, GCP or Azure
- Experience with IaaS, containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Kafka, Redis and ELK stack
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
