What you’ll do
- Lead complex, companywide technology initiatives
- Develop standards and best practices for engineering large-scale technology solutions
- Design, code, test, debug and document for projects and programs
- Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for strategic business objectives
- Collaborate with technical experts and senior teams to resolve complex technical issues
- Lead projects, teams or serve as a peer mentor
- Guide teams in using AI tools to improve productivity and code quality
What they’re looking for
- 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent through work experience, training, military experience or education
- Strong hands-on development expertise delivering scalable applications
- Experience in technical leadership
- C#, .NET Core or Java Spring Boot
- REACT or Angular JS, REST/Web APIs
- Microservices and distributed systems experience
- Cloud platform experience, Azure preferred
- Database experience (SQL/NoSQL)
- Experience with messaging and event-driven architecture
- Docker and Kubernetes experience
Nice to have
- Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT
- Knowledge of AI/ML basics and LLM usage patterns
- Experience integrating AI capabilities via API/SDK-based services
- Understanding of responsible AI practices and enterprise compliance
