What you’ll do
- Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domains
- Design, code, test, debug and document projects including upgrades and deployments
- Review moderately complex technical challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of technologies
- Resolve moderately complex issues while leveraging understanding of policies and compliance requirements
- Collaborate with peers and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges
- Lead projects, act as an escalation point, and guide less experienced staff
What they’re looking for
- 4+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent through work experience, training, military experience or education
Nice to have
- Strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, databases and container technologies
- Microservices architecture design and implementation
- Knowledge of caching strategies such as Redis
- Experience with microfrontend architecture and proficiency in Angular or React with TypeScript
- Experience designing scalable, distributed systems and event-driven architecture
- Experience with Azure cloud platform
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions or Harness
- Practical experience with Microsoft Copilot or other AI-assisted development tools
- Experience with unit and integration testing and secure coding practices
