What you’ll do
- Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
- Design, code, test, debug and document projects including upgrades and deployments
- Review moderately complex technical challenges requiring in-depth evaluation
- Resolve issues and lead a team to meet client needs
- Collaborate with peers and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges
- Lead projects and act as an escalation point, providing guidance to less experienced staff
- Design and implement RESTful APIs, microservices and event-driven integrations
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis
What they’re looking for
- 4+ years of software engineering experience
- 4+ years of hands-on experience designing and supporting enterprise-scale applications
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs and microservices architecture
- Hands-on experience with React.js and modern front-end frameworks
- Experience designing event-driven architectures using messaging and streaming platforms
- Working knowledge of Apache Kafka
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools such as GitHub Actions, Harness or Jenkins
- Strong Git source control and branching strategy experience
- Experience with automated unit, integration testing and test automation frameworks
- Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform, preferably GCP or AWS
- Strong database design experience with Oracle or other relational databases
- Experience with at least one NoSQL database
Nice to have
- Awareness of Python for automation, scripting, data processing or AI/ML initiatives
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments with distributed teams
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity, IAM, Authentication, Authorization or Privileged Access Management
