What you’ll do
- Develop and maintain current-state architecture models across business, application, data and technology domains
- Design and optimize cloud analytics solutions including data lakes, MLOps pipelines and CI/CD
- Architect the enterprise semantic layer for consistent, governed metric definitions across BI and AI consumers
- Define and maintain hub standards, guardrails and governance for analytics capabilities
- Enable responsible AI practices such as explainability, fairness and regulatory compliance
- Gather solution architecture requirements from business and IT stakeholders
- Design external system interface architecture using service-oriented and modern data integration patterns
- Develop solution architecture roadmaps aligned to business unit objectives
What they’re looking for
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, an analytical discipline, or equivalent experience
- 2 to 5 years of Information Services/Information Technology architecture experience
- 10 years of experience in full life cycle solution design using object-oriented analysis and design techniques
- Experience modeling applications, services, systems and data in a component-based, service-oriented manner
- Expert knowledge designing solutions that factor in performance, usability, scalability and cost
- Sound knowledge of design patterns, service-oriented architecture and technical patterns
Nice to have
- Experience designing on a modern lakehouse platform, Databricks preferred, using medallion architecture with Delta Lake and Unity Catalog governance
- Knowledge of MLOps tools such as MLflow, Databricks Model Serving/Mosaic AI or feature stores
- Experience with Databricks and lakehouse/data-mesh patterns
- Knowledge and experience in the insurance industry
