About the role
TMGM is hiring a junior analyst to support market and operational risk work on its dealing desk in Sydney. The onsite role suits an analytically minded finance or technology graduate with relevant financial-services experience and English-Mandarin fluency. You will monitor CFD and FX exposure, market events, and liquidity-provider margin activity while helping improve reporting and risk tools.
What you’ll do
- Monitor market exposure across FX and other CFD asset classes during assigned sessions
- Track market movements, economic releases, and news that could affect risk
- Support reviews of trading and execution incidents
- Help analyse data and automate risk-monitoring and reporting processes
What they’re looking for
- A bachelor's degree in finance, mathematics, economics, statistics, computer science, IT, or a related field
- At least one year of relevant financial-services experience, with FX or CFD experience preferred
- Strong numerical analysis, problem-solving, and data-handling skills
- Interest in financial markets and market structure
- Professional communication and collaboration skills
- Fluency in English and Mandarin
Nice to have
- Python, SQL, or another scripting language
- Experience in the FX or CFD sector
